What Bubo texts are for

Bubo text messaging lets users control their Bubo without using the website. Messages can include opt-in confirmations, replies to your commands, requested reminders, user-requested links, account or product notices, group coordination replies, and support responses.

Message frequency varies based on how you use Bubo. Standard message and data rates may apply.

How to opt in

  • From inside Bubo, you can request text messaging for your phone number. Bubo sends a confirmation to that number that says you agreed to be texted and explains how to discontinue messages.
  • You can text the Bubo number directly. Bubo replies asking you to confirm that you agree to receive messages and explains how to discontinue before recurring text messaging starts.
  • You can be added to a Bubo group text. Bubo confirms directly with you that you agree to receive messages and tells you how to discontinue.

Bubo does not treat signing in, submitting a contact form, or providing a phone number by itself as consent to receive recurring SMS.

Confirmation

After you opt in, Bubo sends a confirmation so you know texting is on and how to stop it.

Help and stop

  • Reply HELP for assistance with Bubo text messaging.
  • Reply STOP to opt out of Bubo text messaging at that number.
  • Reply START again if you want to turn Bubo text messaging back on.
